Day 67 – May 24, 2022

6:10 pm: While cleaning up Harvey’s dishes from supper tonight, I heard him washing his hands in the bathroom and singing Lady Gaga’s “Bad Romance.” We’re never lacking entertainment in this house! ❤️

3:50 pm: Harvey has arrived back home from the hospital! Returning home this morning was dependent upon our family testing negative for COVID: We all did! His ANC increased to .690 this morning and he’s scheduled to begin his next round of aggressive chemotherapy on Friday morning. (A healthy person’s ANC is 2.5 – 6.0.) He still has a very weak immune system. He’s also had a lack of appetite this week. We’re thankful he’ll have a few days at home without chemotherapy before round 2 of consolidation begins. The first thing he did upon arriving home is run downstairs and started building “the biggest train track ever!” 🙂
